Tips for installing a winter cover
When you're ready to put the winter cover on your pool, follow these tips to make the process go as smoothly as possible. It is much easier to install with two people.
in-ground swimming pools
- After covering the entire surface of the pool, secure the cover in each corner with some weights.
- Fit the cover over the entire surface of the pool and lean it at a 90º angle against the pool wall. Don't let it drop diagonally.
- If your cover does not have its own eyelets to be attached to, place weights around it every 50 centimeters. If you live in a windy area, reduce this distance.
elevated pools
- When attaching the cover, it is important that the cable and bracket are snug, but not too tight. The objective is to ensure that the cover is secure, but without damaging the structure of the pool.
